I did the Town Heritage walk and was very disappointed to see that any remainIng original buildings were in a very dilapidated stateeg (court house), no conservation at all. Many of the buildings shown by item numbers on the map no longer exist, just barren ground. The info signs have faded, are scratched and difficult to read. The mining companies need to cough up to preserve this towns history. They take without giving back it seems.
